National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) and Tokushima University (TU) have established “Tokushima University Education and Research Center at Taiwan Tech” at NTUST on June 26th, 2014. Since then, bilateral collaborative research projects between NTUST and TU have been launched to promote their research works and achievements to the international academic and industrial societies. As one of the commemorative events, the First International Forum on Advanced Technologies: IFAT2015 was held in Tokushima (Japan) organized by both Universities on March 9th, 2015. After the success of IFAT2015, IFAT has alternated every other year between NTUST and TU; even during the COVID19 pandemic, IFAT was held online and uninterrupted. In 2023, NTUST successfully got back to the on-site IFAT2023 as a showcase for our ongoing collaborative researches in progress. Following this, IFAT2024 was hosted by TU, and IFAT2025 was held at NTUST as 2025 International Advanced Technology and Taiwan–Japan Engineering Forum (IAT&TJEF 2025).
This year the IFAT community at TU is honored to host the in-person Twelfth International Forum on Advanced Technologies: IFAT2026.
I welcome you all who want to join IFAT2016. See you soon in Tokushima!
The scope of this forum includes a wide range of technologies that cover the following topics, but is not limited to:
